Jersey Hall was finished in 1889 in high Victorian style. Its architect
was the aerial photographer, George Parsell. The first of the buildings
in the later expansion northwest out of the Old Queen's Campus, it
was originally intended for agricultural education and belonged to the
state rather than to the college.
