Dr. Richard L. McCormick was inaugurated as the 19th president of Rutgers on Sunday, April 13, 2003, at the Louis Brown Athletic Center on the Livingston campus in Piscataway. The ceremony featured addresses by Governor James E. McGreevey and Dr. McCormick, remarks by various members of the Rutgers community, and musical performances by the Rutgers University Choir, Glee Club, Kirkpatrick Choir, and Brass Ensemble.
