Inauguration Celebration
April 10, 2003

A celebration commemorating the inauguration for Richard L. McCormick, the 19th president of Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, and showcasing Rutgers–Camden will take place on Thursday, April 10, 2003, at 12:20 p.m. at the Gordon Theater. The event is open to the university community, including students, faculty, staff, and alumni.
President McCormick will be the featured speaker at a panel discussion entitled "Globalization and the American Society." The president also will also respond to comments by panel participants:
• James A. Dunn, Professor of Political Science
• Jainaba Kah, Assistant Professor of Public Policyand Administration
• Rakesh Sambharya, Associate Professor of Management
• Beth Stephens, Associate Professor of Law
A reception and Rutgers–Camden showcase will follow in the Campus Center. Sports enthusiasts may end the day at a softball game between the Rutgers-Camden women and Centenery College at 4 p.m. at Rutgers-Camden Community Park.
