Design and Development
The upper levels of the universitywide web site have been designed in an effort to give Rutgers' official web sites greater consistency and usability. In addition, guidelines for official university web sites have been developed to provide clearly stated requirements and recommendations for university web developers.
We've also created the Rutgers
Web Toolkit,
which contains easy-to-follow instructions
and templates for building sites in the style
of the upper-level menus. Administrative
and academic departments throughout the university
are encouraged to use this toolkit as a basis
for their own site design. Support for use
of the toolkit is available in both formal
classes and individual consultation. (For
